I'm interested in setting up a regional hub.

Hokay folks! Sorry for the delay in getting on here, new forum and all! -- First things first we want to look at topology. Running a hub, the biggest aspect is going to be "antenna hows and whys" (and these shouldn't be expensive and can even be DIY) - but it'll take different approaches for different terrain. (Roofs and trees and balconies and porches will [do!)](https://) So if both of you could give a vague, (please keep it vague) idea of what region you're in, and if it's rural, suburban, or urban we can start figuring out what the best signal approach is. Right now the hub software is the same for all situations, and the Heltec LoRa dongles have ready-to-go firmware.

jnowat Good. Yes, LoRa V3 and I want to get 3d printable antennas going soon. Meanwhile we want stuff with positive gain, like 8-12dB.
