Dogecoin Wallet Synchronizing w. Network after 10 years.

Hi All, new to this forum but not to dogecoin. I've been out of the game for a while and opened my Dogecoin wallet after almost a decade. I started syncing headers and then blocks were being downloaded (from 2014). My first attempt of syncing blocks over several days was going well and I was down to 300K blocks left to sync, but then Dogecoin wallet errored out when the progress was almost at 100%. During that time the downloaded .dat files took about 90gb+ of memory on my laptop.

Now the sync restarted from scratch, currently at 5.3 million blocks left all the way back from 2014. The 90gb of previously downloaded blocks are still on my laptop drive.

how fucked am I, since the doge I sent to crypto.com are nowhere to be found?
1.a. Will I need to wait for synchronization to complete before I get the coins (whenever that may complete)?
What will happen to the already downloaded blocks (.dat files) from my 1st attempt?
2.a. Will I need to delete those .dat files from the 1st attempt to make room for the 2nd new sync?

Do you have the transaction ID? if so present that to Crypto.com help support

Re: If the coins are on that specific wallet, yes, you have to waite the syncronization to end to see it on the wallet

Re: Don't know, you installed on a different directory?, different windows/OS/Linux account? , uninstalled? removed manually? corrupted files or disk?

Re: Do you have a backup of your wallet.dat file? if so, make another backup to be safe, and than you can remove it, and than run it again. make sure you have enough disk space, recommended minimum of 250GB since the Full Blockchain is now at 168GB

DogeDisciple, is your issue solved?

If I understand you correctly:

You made a transaction before Dogecoin Core was fully synced. This transaction is not broadcasted to the network (cannot be found on a blockchain explorer), and the coins are removed from your balance. Is this correct?

In that case, I would recommend the following:

Backup your wallet via File -> Backup. (Make two copies.)
Use zapwallettxes=1 to remove the stuck transactions.
Export private keys from Dogecoin Core, import into Guarda.
Sent coins from Guarda to wherever.
