It appears that Pinterest will throw an error when it sees dogecoin being used as a currency within WooCommerce and does not presently allow users to select dogecoin as a currency from it's dropdown menu when setting up a business account.
The Pinterest "Issues" panel throws "Error 113" which is described as "items have price value formatting errors in product metadata" - Pinterest does appear to receive the data, they just don't like the way it is formatted.
Pinterest is not at all involved in processing GigaWallet transactions and neither does it appear to be involved in processing transactions from WooCommerce apps that use fiat based Web 2.0 payment processing.
There are one of two ways I can think of for going about resolving this.
- Engage Pinterest and ask them to add dogecoin to their drop down menu so the WooCommerce price metadata may be accepted.
- Add a price conversion mechanism within the GigaWallet WooCommerce app to USD or other fiat currency for data being sent to external sources.
Thanks for all that you do 🙏
