1- Get and install OBS Studio (Opensource): https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases
2- Get a https://x.com Premium Account
3- Login to X Media Studio: https://studio.x.com/
4- Click "Producer" in the top navigation bar: https://studio.x.com/producer
5- Click on "Source" and ten on "Create Source", add a Name and select RTPM and a Region were are you streaming from. This generates an RTMP URL and Stream Key.
6- Open OBS Studio, go to "Controls" > "Stream" and set:
Service: Twitter
Server: Select the one on the region of step 5
Stream Key: (paste you X.com stream key generated on Step 5)
Click on "Apply"
go to "Controls" > "Output" and set adjust video settings (e.g., resolution, bitrate) based on your computer and internet capabilities.
Click on "Ok"
7- Now open all your Software, example, Visual Code, GitHub, Browser that you want to show
8- On "Scenes" Block on OBS Studio, create one to setup your safe environment to capture your Camera, Screen, Window, Application, Background, Music etc
On "Sources" Block you can add everything and show/hide whenever you want, like managing a movie were you can show each camera or sound that will show on live stream.
Each item you add you can resize on the scream each source to see were will it fit.
9- Wen you are ready, click on "Start Stream" on OBS Studio, but it will not yet stream live on X.com
10- Go to https://studio.x.com/producer click on "Create Broadcast", add a name, tag and select the "Source" you created on step 5, setup all the options you want and it should start previewing in real-time on X.com, wen you are ready just click on "Create Broadcast" and make a post on X.com about it 🙂
