Connecting to peers…..

Hey, massive noob here but after help (go easy on me).

Standard request for help. Found a Mac of mine that was running Dogecoin-QT. Last time it sync’d was March 2015, assumed it would just connect and sync up. Didn’t get it working so upgraded to latest version of dogecoin core.

Seems to be sat there for an age (number of blocks left : unknown syncing headers 145119) // progress 3.30% // estimated time left: unknown

Any help would be appreciated, much love

It took me almost a week from 0%, having it almost 24 hours a day... the worst was when it was at ₉₅% it started going much slower. a lot of patience...it's slow

Any logs? they can show you in more details what is going on. But in general; be sure that the computer is connected to the internet and wait a couple of days.
