Today we’re publishing the start of something exciting. At fetch.dogecoin.org you’ll find the beginnings of a Dogecoin web component library.
What’s a web component (for the non technical)? It’s a snippet of code you can place on your own website that does a thing. What thing? Well, let’s briefly consider the classic <b>
element. When used on a website, it makes text bold. <b>I’m bold</b>
, easy. We aim to publish helpful Dogecoin components that do Dogecoin related things, making it easy to add say .. your wallet address as a QR code on your website, or Dogecoin’s current price in some other currency or .. (let your imagination take you)
This post is to let you know it exists and where to find it. We’ll continue to add to this collection. Can’t wait to see where these components are used across the web!
Visit fetch.dogecoin.org to get started.
